Town & Country Hospital opened in December 1980, after nearly 10 years of planning by the four physicians who originally purchased the 45 acres of land where the hospital stands today. The acute-care hospital, which is located in Hillsborough county, is licensed for 201 beds. It is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and offers all private rooms. Town & Country Hospital offers a broad range of surgical and diagnostic services to help meet the medical needs of the community. We're proud to be affiliated with over 300 of Tampa's finest physicians, and we are honored that they have chosen to care for their patients in our facility.
